Drudge is saying now that despite that closed door lunch speculation, WH is still sticking with Biden.

Good.

I wonder if it was a "shut the fuck up" meeting.

Why?  Nobody (msm) calls him on what he says.

I'm sure that it was all pro forma; they probably all had lite soy-lattes and talked about how smart they think that they are...and how dumb that they think we are...and how great the "closed meeting" will "message" and "project" to the public in the 24hour news cycle.

That's an interesting "What if" game.  What if the democrats replaced Carter with Kennedy before the 1980 election?  Could Kennedy's name help him beat the less experienced actor, Ronald Reagan?

And then which direction would the country have gone?

Interesting questions, THS.  Far be it from me to alienate the agnostics and atheists on this board but I thank the good Lord above that we had Reagan when we did!  What a foreign policy disaster Kennedy would have been against the intimidation and advances of the Soviet Union!  Hell, "Red Dawn" would be a documentary, not just a fictional movie!

And sorry THS, but I hope you were being sarcastic when you said "less experienced actor". Reagan hadn't been an actor for quite some time and had been the Governor of the biggest state economy in the US with success for a while. He had far more executive experience than "drowning pool Teddy".

Had a lot of time in the car today.  7 hours total of driving for a 15 minute hearing in Baldwin County.  Anywho, listened to a lot of talk radio, more specifically the Neil Bortz (sp?) show.  I don't listen to a lot of political shows so I don't know many of the players. A guy named Eric Erikson was filling in and he unashamedly tabbed himself as a right wing conservative.  A few observations. First, he was ripping Biden a new one with a ton of soundbites that did more than enough to solidify the VP as one of the most goofy ass retards holding any office, especially one as significant as this one.

Also, the show is where I got the take on The One not admitting he was wrong.  This guy said he felt Biden would remain in his position as he truly believes it's that important to Obama to never admit or even give the impression he was wrong, especially about the very first decision he made in his Presidency.

I listen to a fair amount of talk radio...consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to listen to that arrogant, blowhard, libertarian extremist (Neal Boortz).

Wut?  Liberal?  No way.

Read his book "Someones Got To Say It".  One page you will love him, then next you will want to choke him to death.  It's a good read and he makes a lot of valid points.  I wouldn't call him Liberal though.

I don't care for his delivery either. He's very arrogant.

At least Rush is entertaining. And usually correct.
