I imagine I'm not that different than most on here in that I own a lot of Auburn gear. I've probably amassed about 10 AU baseball hats...some of which I was able to hold on to....I've got a couple of Auburn Trayvons and several shirts etc. Was having a conversation with GF a while back and it was agreed that Auburn gear is meant to help you represent and not to be worn as an outfit. You may think differently and that's fine...but you're a dork! Wear your cap..but don't wear your cap, AU shirt and AU belt. If it's game day and you're anywhere around Pat Dye Field at Jordan Hare Stadium...okay. If you're walking in Longhorn in a head to toe Auburn ensemble...you need help.
Just got back from lunch. I walked out to my beat up ass 2001 Sexpedition and when I got in, another pulled up beside me. A guy gets out right beside my vehicle and I just have to stop and watch this scene. He had on a Bama cap...Bama shirt tucked in and a Bama belt. He turned around and sticking out of his back pocket was a Bama engraved wallet. His wife had on a Bama sweatshirt. A girl got out of the back seat wearing a matching Bama sweatshirt with Bama sunglasses. They open the back door to get their baby out of the car seat and yep, the kid has on a Bama outfit.
I wanted to roll down my window and ask, "Excuse me, would you guys happen to be Bama fans?"
WE'VE GOT IT....YOU PULL FOR ALABAMA...AND YOU ALL HAVE GONE FULL ON TARD!!!
Don't get me wrong, I've seen my share of AU fans do it as well as fans from all different schools. But stop it....now. You're not a cheerleader and you don't play. A hat says all you need to say. A shirt lets the world know who you support. An Auburn hat, shirt, watch, belt, AU monogrammed jeans and Nike's with AU shoelaces screams waterhead at Wall Marks. Just stop.
