I know these have been around forever but I've just never been in one. Getting one down here in Dothan. Any recommendations? Anything special or it is a Hooters without the hooters?

Wings. Their burgers aren't bad, but it's not their specialty. It's a pretty simple place...good wings, lots of TVs, and frequent drink specials.

Wings are ok. They don't do fries, they do like thick potato chips or something like. It's not a big favorite of mine. Much prefer Hooters, not only for the hooters, but the wings and fries too.

The two that I've been to in the Birmingham area have both fries and potato wedges. But those are the only two I've been in, so their menu may differ from place to place. They also have "Buffalo Chips," which is what I think you're referring to.

I think that's what they call them. Maybe they've added fries since I was last there, which has been several years, but I distinctly recall being told then, that they didn't have regular fries. It's why I don't go back, or a big reason.

Pretty bland, in my opinion. Marginally better than Hooters, but that isn't saying much.

Just booked the last full week of March but hope to get down there prior to that. All that stuff about tropical vacations got X'd out by some unforseen $$$...err..issues.

I'll also say that I've never found Hooter's wings to be anything to write home about. Decent curly fries but I like those better than their wings. Probably like Beef O'Brady's wings more and their curlies are teh titz. I don't normally order wings out that often because I've spoiled myself on my own recipe that I whip up on the grill.

Hooters doesn't turn out any food product that I'd want to feed my dog. Crap food all around.

The place to watch a game on TV if you don't want to watch it at home or at the event itself.

For some reason, we don't have any in the New Orleans area. Closest one's on the North Shore, which is to say, not anywhere close enough.

The closest thing we have, in addition to Hooters, is this place called WoW (World of Wings). Atmosphere is ok, but the wings are nothing short of awful.

Everybody has their own tastes. I think their wings are ok. The sauces are ok, fries hot and crispy. I mean it ain't Highlands, or Bottega, but it's not supposed to be. I think some of it's overpriced, but can't recall every having anything really bad there. My fave wings are Baumhower's.
