Updated story...
http://mobile.al.com/advbirm/pm_29180/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=0MnThCb7April Justin (Collin's mom) said she learned on Nov. 5 her son, who is 18, had ended an eight-year relationship with another girl. That was the night LSU defeated Alabama 9-6 in overtime at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Justin said Collins was on his official visit to Alabama, which coincided with what Justin called an "academic official" visit to campus by Victoria.
...
If Saban did offer Collins' girlfriend a job, it could violate NCAA bylaw 13.2.1, which prohibits anyone with a school's athletic interest from making arrangements for giving or offering benefits to a prospective student-athlete's relatives or friends. NCAA bylaw 13.2.1.1 letter (a) specifically prohibits "an employment arrangement for a prospective student-athlete's relatives."
Alabama had no comment on the allegations Monday, and in a statement to momstream.com last week, an Alabama spokesman said he would not comment on the allegation and had no information.
"I know there's 20 other girls that's on a waiting list waiting to be a liaison," April Justin (Collin's mom) said.
"And she has one waiting for her, as I was told."
Justin said family members met Saturday, including the family of Collins' girlfriend, to discuss his recruitment.
"I figured she was a big part of his decision," Justin said. "She had no part of it. She was an outsider.
I felt as though you put your daughter on my son to influence him to go to Alabama.
I really think Alabama recruiting and their staff was very ... sneaky, conniving things within this whole recruiting situation."
The uat "Compliance Dept" is getting that dissociated letter ready for backdating to all of the associated parties "to whom it may concern."
