Not sure how much input coordinators get in the draft process. Seems like the Falcons have mortgaged the franchise for wrs and tes.
Gonna agree with the counselor here I would say that I am sure he has a voice but it is probably not that loud. Most picks are coming from the scouts and GM. Some NFL coaches don't even have much input, some have a lot.
NFL is such a totally different beast. Think about it. Aside from Free Agency, in a normal draft there are 7 rounds. Assuming your team only has 1 pick per round that is 7 players a year. Considering that most 4-7 round picks sometimes don't even make the roster. That is 1-3 guys you have to hit on. Ok now college 25 new players each year.
I wouldn't really worry too much about his NFL numbers. I like what he did at UGA and now he has NFL experience on top of that. Seems win-win to me.
