Here's mine:

You know these teams. They both run the ball well, they don't turn it over, and the defenses batter and hammer the opposition into submission. The one distinct advantage on the field is LSU's special teams. Whether it is a clutch kick, a punt that pins an opponent deep, or a dynamic return, this is where the Tigers get their spark in big games.

Alabama's offense can make some big plays and they will no doubt pull out all the stops in this one. Alabama's defense will dial up pressure to try and force turnovers or three and outs which is what they need. LSU takes their time to get the offense cranking and given time — just like Novocain — the Tigers ground attack piles up yards particularly late in the game.

I expect Alabama to cash in on scoring opportunities early and maybe even take a lead into the locker room at the half. LSU gets better as the game wears on though and being able to flip the field through special teams will give the Tigers just enough of an opening for them to do what they've done several times this year — surge in the second half for the win.

LSU 17, Alabama 14

Barring some called upon game with the Green Bay Packers, I predict LSU will win the BCS National Championship and will go down as one of the most deserving champions of the era based on the gauntlet it has run to get there.

All I keep hearing from bammers, and so called experts, is that bammer actually outplayed LSU in the first game, but had critical mistakes at key times. I didn't see it that way, but ok. I think they're evenly matched, and I think the difference is in QB play and special teams, both of which I give LSU the edge in. I simply don't think AJ McBrodie can win this game for the tahd, and I think that's what they need. Bammers think Lord Saybinz is a great game day coach, but I've seen his asshole pucker in big games that are tight. He loses his cool, where Miles is cool as the other side of the pillow. Saybinz is a great frontrunner usuallly, but not good in the pinch.

Alabama 27- LSU 14

Alabama scores late to help them brag about how much of a blowout it was. Trent Richardson is held to 60 yards rushing except for that late last minute touchdown run of 50+ yards because LSU expected them to kneel it. Alabama goes on to brag about how dominant Trent Richardson was.

Alabama returns a Jordan Jefferson fumble for a touchdown, but goes on to brag about how they dominated LSU's defense.

If you made mistakes at the worst times and they were that important, did you really outplay anyone? Wouldn't the team that made less mistakes usually be considered the better team?

Apparently, you forgot that many of Alabama's 13 national championships came with controversy and were smeared with illegitimacy.

Bama wins this one. No one cares. Everyone knows it's bullshit. But it's exactly how college football history has gone.
