I would be pretty excited about this hire were it to happen. He is a big reason that FSU's defense is getting back to it's former glory.

Me too. Not sure if it amounts to anything but I know there was some rumors and flight watchin' going on not to long ago with Auburn planes making several trips to the Tallahassee area. Both a Stoops rep and I think Phillip Marshall came out and said Stoops was never a candidate (or something like that).

They gave Fisher a 1 year extension through 2016 yesterday, but I haven't seen anything about assistants.

No skreetz, but betting announcements come this week on both OC and DC. Some will, as usual, while knowing little or nothing about the new guys, will hate them immediately, and some will love them immediately.

Then look for the last 9 slots to start filling in on the recruiting class. I think we're going to finish strong.

My hope is the new OC has multiple offenses for different QBs, that he gives them out early so the starting QB can start coordinating the offense, and that they are rhythmic playbooks.

Have no favorite for offense. Harsin is taken already and I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have a familiar Borges over a bubble screen happy/ run by committee spread guy or some air raid dude. I only know we want to run it first and foremost.
