Roof to UCF!!!!

I'll be eager to see how this plays out. This needed to be done, and now we will see who's defense this really is. I hope things change drastically...

Has to be it. Not trying to be a dick, but who the fuck would want Roof period? UCF's defense is #11 in the country right now with their first year DC, and was 15th last year with the previous DC. They haven't said why they fired their DC, but if they hired Roof, it would be puzzling. Under him, a normally stout AU defense has gone to swiss cheese.

Auburn's nightmare scenario would be that he has another top 15 D in Orlando next season.

His schemes are fine. He did lack players this year. However, a defense is largely about attitude, and I think he's too laid back to really have a defense play with fire, and the loss of that personality in Rocker hurt. In general, I think Roof just isn't very aggressive. In that, he was a problem.
