SEC top 3, are the nation's top 3. OU and OSU, can't compare. I'd say even Ark. beats both. K State? Pretty good, but don't think they'd beat any of Bammer, LSU, or Ark. After that? Georgia, having played nobody within the SEC, and having lost to Boise, but now being much improved, is the wildcard...below the SEC top 4, we're not very good. I would have for Auburn to play Baylor. aTm not good, but they can score...I think Baylor and aTm would beat UK, UT, OM, MSU for sure, and give UF and USCe a run for their money. ISU? Better than OM, MSU, and UK? At least as good maybe. Their top end isn't nearly as good, but I think their bottom 2/3 (how many do they even have now?) would compete well with our bottom 1/2.
And that got me to thinking about Auburn. Hell, we've beaten UF and USCe, not to mention MSU (all ranked at some point)...Auburn, when looking at the SEC as a whole, bad as we think we are, is still in the top half this year. I'd argue we're the #5 team in the SEC. And that's a damn sight better than most had us preseason...which was #5 or #6 in the West.
