In arguing with a caller finebaum finally admits what we've said all along. 

He accidentally validated everything I believe about Auburn's relationship with Alabama.

"when did the rivalry become hateful?  When did it turn?  It had nothing to do with moving the game to Auburn. It got hateful when Auburn started winning 30 years ago.  Alabama fans were okay when they owned Auburn.  Things turn hateful when Auburn wins.".


Isn't that what we say?  They are afraid of our success.

What he said is true, but in fairness, Alabama all of a sudden becoming competitive again didn't really help things either.

Also had a caller say he was with Updyke...at the LSU game.  Said he's a fucking Rock Star.  Bammers love him, shake his hand, have their pics made with them.  As we all suspected...even the "good bammers" are still bammers deep down.
