Damn it Beevis, if I have to hear about that fucking interception one more time today..... Okay, let's go over this. A referee makes a call. That call is challenged or reviewed from the booth. There has to be irrefutable evidence that the call was indeed wrong before you can overturn it. My first impression when watching the game, was that this may be overturned, but upon watching a couple of angles, as you will see later in this video, I fully understood why the call was upheld. It is not clear on the first few replays but the last 2-3 that you see revela that just before hitting the ground, the ball begins to come loose from Williams' hands. Reed already had his hand inside of Williams and was trying to pry the ball loose and I believe the video shows it coming out before Williams' shoulder hits the ground. The point of the ball comes upward and I think the refs knw they couldn't overturn given what they saw.
