TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - Alabama will face back-to-back opponents with bye weeks prior to their games.

This week it's Vanderbilt. Next week it's at Mississippi.

Therefore, the Rebels are already talking about the Crimson Tide.

Our friends at the Jackson (Mississippi) Clarion-Ledger offered this little grenade yesterday on the Ole Miss Sports blog.

It was reporters speaking with Rebels quarterback Randall Mackey.

The fact that he thought Alabama is beatable wasn't what was funny, dipshit. What was amusing was that he made the Superman reference, and Alabama went on to break a few records in their house, while handing them their worse loss in 30 years.

If some opposing player said made the reference about AU, you would put out some whiney half a page post about how stupid that guy is, and then you would lay your nuts squarely on his forehead if AU went on to beat them by 45 points. While Alabama certainly is beatable (see: LSU game), Ole Miss is probably the wrong team to talk about it.
