Anybody watching Cam?
« on: September 11, 2011, 05:44:57 PM »
Carolina is up 14 - 7 at halftime.  Cam already has two touchdown passes to Steve Smith... This guy won't cut it in the NFL... Fuck the hatas.

I'm watching Cam in his first NFL Game....at the same place where he played his last College game. He has looked really good so far.

Cam's first NFL rushing TD was a dive over the pile at the 3 yardline...then a unsportsmanlike penalty for celebration (Jimi Hendrix style celebration).

Cam looks like a beast in his first game.  Just a few more things to patch up before he really becomes an elite player in the league.

I'm impressed.

Just to further silence douchebags like the one on my facebook that said, "Cam has good stats, but all he's done is lob up bombs hoping the veterans catch them."

Cam has broken the record for single game yardage by a rookie quarterback.

Cam (as of right now) has 315.

Previously, Peyton Manning set the record with 302.

He broke Manning's "Rookie First Start Passing Yards" record in the 3rd Q I think.  All the NFL talking heads raving about his performance.

Damn...1 yard short.
Funny thing is, I see the Panthers are challenged on defense which seems to be a common theme for every team I pull for. Carolina also has a workable offensive line with a good running combo and some playmakers to compliment. I just wonder if you guys noticed the similarities.

But yeah one yard short.

Stolen from someone else.  Not sure if true:

Quote
Aaron Rodgers has never had more yards in a game.
Tom Brady has never had more yards in a game.
Peyton Manning has had more yards ONCE in the last 5 years.
Drew Brees has had more yards TWICE in the last 5 years.

If so, all hail King Cam.  :king:

If they can get a few more playmakers on defense and WR, Carolina will be dangerous in their division.

Speaking of which, Atlanta looked shitty today.

Obliterated Peyton Manning's record for yards in a rookie debut. Old record in 1998: 302 yds. New record in 2011: 422 yds. Also, first player all time to get over 400 yards in his rookie season. Previous record: 346 by Otto Graham in 1950.

Sheriden would know...he knows people.

Did he say he knows people?  No he did not.  But he knows a person who alleges he knows people.  Does he trust him?  Why shouldn't he?  And yes he does.  Is this person right about everything?  Of course not.  How could anyone be right about everything?  But let me tell you something, he trusts him.  And why wouldn't he trust him?  This person has known a lot people over the years and has been right about a lot.  So all he's saying is that he may or may not know people if his friend or person knows the people he alleges to know.  I'll take a lie detector test to prove what I'm saying is right.

Has anyone noticed that Sheridan actually talks that way?
