Not going to happen any time soon.

One thing overlooked is that we've won 17 straight games with Ted Roof. I know it's frustrating and gives everyone a heart attack each week, but we haven't lost in a long time.

He needs to scheme better, play man coverage, more blitzes, etc...

I barely watched any of the game, so I can't say anything about players out of position or piss poor tackles, but I did look at the box score.

MSU

First Downs -- 31
3rd -- 11-20
Total yards -- 531
Pass yards -- 198
Rush yards -- 333

Holy shit. Last week, I was surprised when Auburn came back from 10 down in the final 3 minutes to win the game. This week, I'm shocked that Auburn didn't lose with MSU putting up those numbers. ANYTIME you give up 300+ yards rushing, you lose. Unless Malzhan is your OC. But holy fuck, that's crazy.

Anyway, congrats. I expected AU to lose this one.

Undfortunately this is a truth. You score over 40 points two weeks in a row and barely win, defense has issues. With all of the excellent talent that has been signed, I can't believe it is a talent issue.

100% agreeance.

I'm not saying he's Chizik-as-a-DC level, I'm just sayin that defensive performance was a huge improvement over last week. Now's not the week to be saying we should fire him mid-season.
