Quote
"Strap up the cleats and we'll put you out on the practice field and let you make that decision and see where it goes," Andersen said. "Did we execute it correctly? No, because we didn't get the ball back. But, they executed it perfectly. They had an opportunity to make a play and they did. We did not.
"... Don't put that on the kids. If you do, then I question you as a person. Period. That's enough, that's all I've got to say about it."

I understand not bagging on the players but there is a degree of responsibility that they should own if they have been taught how to do it.
In this world of everybody gets a trophy this is a good example of what should still be good about sports.  Learning you fucked up and fuck ups have consequences.  Sometimes you have to pay consequences even when you don't fuck up.
Did AU execute one of the most beautiful onside kicks that I have ever seen?  Yes they did.
But all that had to happen was Utah State sacrifice everyone going for the ball and take out our players going after it.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Agree Sani. More is learned from screw ups than learned from "getting a trophy" everytime.
