BATON ROUGE -- LSU junior wide receiver Russell Shepard, expected to be a major weapon for the Tigers this season, will not play in the Tigers' season opener on Sept. 3 against No. 3 Oregon and will miss more games, LSU announced Thursday afternoon.
Yep. I'm not sure how to take this though. I don't think we really have a shot at the SEC championship. I do think Alabama is the strongest team in the West. I did think LSU was the only chance to knock them off.
Arkansas was the other possibility. Losing Davis for the season didn't help them any.
The Hogs may still have someone to carry the rock though.
