A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

You can keep a wooden stake in your trunk
On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

...says the non-golfer.  It's an understood opinion.  However as a golfer, I've been several times and it's not over-hyped or overrated.  It's actually one of the more magnificent places I've ever been to, relative to the sport it involves.  One of those places you don't truly appreciate until you're standing there on the grounds.  Absolutely incredible.

Yes, I will.  Horse racing isn't a "sport".

And fuck you.  I now take back all the nice things I said about Oregon after my visit last week.

Correction.
Horse racing is a sport because you can bet on it.
I think you meant that jockeys are not athletes.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Using that logic, BlackJack, Craps and Poker would be sports.  That means, we're all athletes...  OK...
