I just did.

Bob Barr was at Blue Monkey tonight. I went over and sat at his table for a little while. He seemed like a solid dude but the cronies he was with, who probably organized whatever event he was in town for, were douches.

That is all.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I like Bob Barr. He's a great constitutionalist. Although, I wish he would stop hanging with some of the people he hangs with like Cynthia McKinney.

Did you ask him what he thought about The ONE suspending any Judicial Dept. defense of the Defense of Marriage Act that he authored?

I would have liked to have gotten his reaction.

I had a short sit down with W the first time he ran. Visited a place I was working and I helped with an online report on his visit.

I remember thinking "Holy shit. If THIS guy can be president anybody can.  I have truly sold myself short"  I was completely underwhelmed. He was a doof.

Still voted for him.  Al gore?  Please.

If you want free cheese, look in a mousetrap.

I had a short sit down with W the first time he ran. Visited a place I was working and I helped with an online report on his visit.

I remember thinking "Holy poop. If THIS guy can be president anybody can.  I have truly sold myself short"  I was completely underwhelmed. He was a doof.

Still voted for him.  Al gore?  Please.

That about sums it up.  Before the most recent election when people asked I told them I was voting for McCain, but I wasn't happy about it.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

I knew we were in trouble this last election......I still can't believe the best candidates that were offered up was Barry, McCain and Barr.

I've hated the "lesser of 2 evils" choices we've had since 88. Only Perot offered up something different.

His firm recently moved around the corner, but his office was downstairs from mine, so I've shared an elevator with him numerous times.  Not a tall guy.  (Yeah, I'm that cool).

The larger question is why was he hanging out at someplace I use to go to pick up the nightly slam hound?

I actually have been to the "Blue Monkey" in Birmingham before and while Bob Barr and I have great taste in eye-wear...I'm not that rotund...or limp-wristed...or politically hypocritical.

President Reagan came to our Nuke site and ate in our mess hall. I was a couple of tables over from him. Freakin FBI were everywhere. He spoke a few words about us-country and so on. I never got to shake his hand-but you could tell he believed in what he was doing. He walked like a cocky motherfucker.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'
