Fuck Derrick Lowe! Why the fuck didn't the Braves try to get rid of him? He's sporting an 8-10 record with an ERA up around 5. He let the Nationals ass rape him tonight, even Ankiel hit a fucking grand slam off of his ass. Its time to give up hope fellow Braves fans, this team is letting it all slip out of reach. The Dbacks or Giants will take the wildcard spot.

I agree. No way can they let him continue to go out and give up 4-8 runs a game. I say it's time to move Mike Minor back up into the rotation. Put Lowe in the bullpen for middle relief in extended situations. Something has to give.

I concur...some pitchers go in a mini-slump like Jurgens but I've only seen two decent outings from Lowe and it seems no lead can be safe while he's on the mound. Impressed with this Constanza guy. He slaps the ball around and should provide the Braves almost another run per with Bourn in the lineup if the damn pitchers can lay a fn bunt down. That was the turning point with me. Should have been second and third with one out but instead they force at third, then get a K and make out like champs. The what-if and could-have-beens matter in this game when we are talking abcs and giving your team a chance. Hanson hasn't been particularly sharp and Hudson's split finger is on about one in three outings. I certainly wouldn't bet on the Braves being the wild card team as of today.
