What the hell is wrong with you people this had nothing to do with the tapes this was a boycott of the sponsors. Scott does not have the tapes never has had them. John Bond owns them. It was never the intention to play the tapes on Scotts show it only worked out that way after Bond turned down HBO. Then for whatever reason ESPN and John did not make a deal not sure the reason for that if it was mistrust or what. The reason the show is cancelled is simple the station caved in the AU fans boycotting the sponsors despite telling him the show would air on Wed. They decided today to pull the plug. All of their shows was losing sponsors not just Scott's this affected the whole lineup even the AU friendly Cole Cublic show. The tapes will be made public one day regardless of this but two people have lost their jobs and you people are so callous none of you care. You were not duped not a one of you have heard the tapes. Scott has told you nothing but what he has heard believe it or not. If Scott could have played the tapes he would have but he did not own them, and Bond had not given him to him yet to verify. Bond got a letter from the NCAA March 2 asking him to contact them immediately after learning he had agreed to make the tapes public. I assume most of you did not know that. However I have personally seen the letter. It is a sad day when a Radio station caves into to a boycott but this was organized. I hope they have deep pockets. What is up with attacking a man that just lost his job from being attacked by AU fans why in the hell are Alabama fans attacking him. I have been friends with Scott for awhile he has never one time lied to me. He told me from day one about the tapes. He also told me Cam was not on the tapes but the offers from both UT and AU were on the tapes and I fully believe that. I am not sure it would matter to the NCAA, but it matters to me that the truth never got out because a radio station caved in because of a few AU fans. Dont be surprised if the backlash does not cause the to fire Cole Cublic as well as his sponsors were leaving and I am sure the Alabama fans will attack the station the same way if he stays on that is not right either but the station showed they would cave in so they should expect it. I hope we show more class than that but frankly I am disappointed in the station they promised him he would be back Wed. We had not even talked about the tapes in chat for a couple months that is how much we thought about them. The NCAA had ignored many of them but I dont know if John and Bill gave them all of them or Bill gave them any since they did not get around to him until the season was over despite Bond telling the NCAA he had more tapes. AU did not want the tapes out. The SEC did not want the tapes out. The NCAA did not want them out. Everyone is trying to discredit the tapes if there is nothing own them why. Why was HBO trying so hard to get them. Why was TMZ offering big money for them if there is nothing own them. Yes you have been played but not by Scott Moore, but by the very people that try to control radio in this state. They could not handle one station telling the truth as they saw it. If you had listened to the show at all you would know only a small part of the show was about the tapes. In a way this may work out the best as now the tapes can be released on HBO or a National Show. John had only agreed to do them on Scott's show because he was the only one he trusted. Why did Scott trust John because he is a Christian and two because Scott heard the tapes something none of you have done and may never now because a radio station caved in to a AU boycott. Wait to they see what an Alabama boycott is if they want to play games like this. I dont want it to come to that but I have a feeling it is going to. Lucky for Scott the show had the best ratings in the History of the station so I expect he will have little trouble finding a new show and at least maybe the owners will not fold when AU fans do not like what is said. I dont like Jim Rome or Paul Finebaum but I dont boycott them I just do not listen to them.

That may not happen and it is not because the tapes do not exist. John is under attack, even his school AD has asked he not release them and the NCAA sent him a letter just a few days ago to contact them as soon as they learned he was going to play them on Scott's show. The Zone failed to do for Scott after he had the highest ratings in the history of the station for his shows. The Station also lost sponsors for Cole Cublic show as well but only cancelled Scott show because that was the one the AU fans were calling about. I am sure if he had it all over to do again Scott would have had the tapes verified and just played them but he never knew he was going to get the tapes. Scott never expected to ever be in the position to have the tapes made available to his show if so he would have done it different. He originally had Bond on the show to talk about the HBO special not doing the tapes on his show.. It was a shock to him Bond agreed to give him the tapes for his show. Scott had worked that whole weekend for Bond to release the tapes on ESPN as he felt the tapes needed to be released Nationally. He did not want to release the tapes on his show unless that was the only way John would do it. Well now there may be no releasing them it will not be because of Scott or Bond but because a Radio station caved in. Everyone should let them know they made a mistake.
