The way I'm thinking is the decision was already made, and word got out when it wasn't supposed to. Everybody knew this was coming. Somebody just ran their mouth. Seriously, who watched that MSU game and thought "Oh yeah, Rich Rod will be there next year." Nobody. The decision was probably made before then, for that matter.

Like I said before, I think in all reality the decision had been made, and it was leaked by somebody in the AD. Maybe that TV station in Michigan just made it up all on their own. We will probably never know. If somebody leaked it to the media, I wouldn't expect them to just sit on it.
