College Football's Biggest Party? Anyone going?

College Football's Biggest Party? Anyone going?
« on: December 17, 2010, 02:00:30 PM »
Hey guys, just wondering if any of you that are going to Glendale are planning on attending that pre-game party at $30/ticket.  Wondering if it is worth the price.  Anybody been to one of those before or know someone who has.  I don't feel like dropping $60 for us to walk around and watch kids kick a football thru an inflateable goalpost.  The SEC FanFare was a joke in Atlanta, so I hope this might be better.

Anybody?

War Eagle!

I have not been and figured it would be along the lines of the SEC deal.  I can put on a better tailgate without them being involved.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I'll sell you two for $60.

I couldn't sell any of the extra shit I had to get with my package i.e. Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl tickets. Gotta make some of that back somewhere.

Surprised that you could not dump the Fiesta bowl ones.

Thanks, but I can buy them through the AU ticket office for $30 a ticket.  Just wondering if I'd be wasting money.  Now the $30 parking pass is probably worth it...

Looks like this is the same kinda shit that the SEC does.

Good for the kiddies not so much for those of us who like bourbon.

If it is anything like the one I went to for the Orange Bowl it is exactly for the kiddies.  Although Uncle Sani and I may have to participate in a Sumo suit fight.

I wouldn't waste the money AA.  I will probably check it out but I got the tickets included with my package.
