I'm not sure how to explain the season Texas had.

Last January, they had a team capable of beating Alabama until their starting QB went down.

Now, Texas can't beat Baylor or Iowa St.

Still, for being a true frosh and getting thrown into the NC game, it looked like Gilbert showed some promise. None of it makes sense.

Texas's season is pretty much proof that Texas was Colt McCoy last year and by injuring him in the NC game, you played a team that wouldn't have made it to a bowl game. Congrats.

Don't be surprised to see the same strategy today with Newton. How's the backup QB doing?
I'm not kidding. Bama knows that their chance goes up without Newton in the game.

I would show promise against the Ultra Loose Prevent you guys played the entire third quarter of that game. Gilbert isnt that great. Texas never belonged on the field with Bama. They BARELY beat Oklahoma earlier that season without Bradford. Everything just came to a head this year all at once for them. I feel they recruit a lot of guys that are good on paper with lots of stars next to their names, but the guys they recruit - while talented - dont seem to have any juice in their veins. Very nonchalant.

Has to be something like needing a new offensive scheme.  Maybe run the I or Wishbone and that would fix it.  Mack Brown has to be fired.  Also need to indicate how Will Muschamp is no longer desirable as a HC either, and probably TX needs to rethink that coach in waiting contract.   Good coaches don't have bad seasons.    Whatever it is, Mack Brown probably has lost it, and needs to be fired, and the whole staff run off.

I see youve been on Orange Bloods....

And I meant to echo Wench's sentiments from her original post.  Gig em Aggies!

Ive always had a little soft spot for Aggie with them being a "Cow College" like us  :poke: and a lot of the same passion and culture. They TOO have to put up with an arrogant state university up the road.

Don't count on that happening titz. By the way, wouldn't it benefit the Hogs if Auburn wins?

Nah, that's just the typical rhetoric.  Last year, a bad break away from a NC, this year, none of them can coach.

Texas needs new uniforms plain and simple. Those rags are a disgrace I tell EWE what. Texas needs an Oregontype designer ensemble with accessories, rhinestones, and plenty of them. Don't forget eppulets! For footwear, may I suggest hightop white shoes with tassles.
Bedazzle me 'Horns! Ew I liiike it.

Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing.

...and I remember you saying this, that was kind of the reason for my statement, gosh man. A great win for us and the Hogs will make for a nice weekend. Oh, and a Boise loss tonight just for good measure.
