Speaking of parking tickets, I got called into the campus police office and ripped a new one after receiving a tix.  I had a deadline to turn a paper in and as usual was finishing at the last possible minute.  I drove to Haley Center and parked, quickly sprinted up the stairs, handed my paper in and ran back down...only to see the ticket lady driving away from my car in her little ticket writing cart.  I snatched up the ticket and got in my car.  As soon as the door was closed, I screamed, "You fucking bitch"...and a few other expletives.

I had no clue that she heard any of it.  She did!!  I got a call a day or two later and had to meet with the "Chief" and the ticket lady.  Never apologized so humbly in all my life.
