That being said, not having the proper license to have a gun on you probably means you are not mature enough to handle one. 

Like I said before, it could be a simple matter of:

A) License had expired and he didn't realize it.

B) He could have a permit out of CA or another state and it isn't reciporacal in FL.

C) He has a valid permit and simply didn't have it on him.

That doesn't necessarily make you immature or incapable of handling the responsibility of owning a firearm. Of course, we're talking about alot of hypotheticals here. Unless he was about to go rob a store or something, it doesn't make him any less mature or any less of a Christian for having that gun.
