I never said any of these events were ever the hand of God. I just posted to get peoples thoughts. I do however believe that some events happen based on judgment. This applies equally well to the leftist, socialist, Progressive, political elite class who want to destabilize and, I would argue, even destroy American Exceptional-ism.  But this issue goes beyond the immediate effects of the Deepwater Horizon accident which is just "an opportunity" (to quote from Rahm Emmanuel) for them to further hamper our economy by the knee-jerk reaction of stopping all domestic oil exploration and promoting their "Cap and Trade" carbon taxes.  These people are obscene in their grotesque blood-lust for more control and power over us to enhance their own positions and in order to place perceived global interests over real national interests!
