State of AU basketball

Been out all day.   Wondered if maybe we won a game.

No thread here.  Hmmm.

Went to al.com.  Checked the front page. Story about Alabama's lack of character, Florida beating Mississippi State, Kentucky's Demarcus Cousins, some stuff about the Saints... Hmmm.

Wondered if I'd gotten the days wrong and maybe we actually played tomorrow.

Went to Auburntigers.com.  Baseball spash screen. Story about tennis. Story about horses. Story about swimming.  Little tiny picture at the bottom.

Apathy.

Yeah, I found the story on auburntigers.com.

I guess the fact that I had to search for it was more the reasoning behind the post.

I'm part of the problem. I only cared after the fact and my curiosity was mild.  Beyond Frankie Sullivan whom I know because I watched him play in high school very often, I couldn't tell you who else starts.

Korvotney Barber and Rasheem Barrett.  They're pretty good from what I saw a few years ago.  Maybe they'll put together a run for the SEC tournament.  That will definitely help Lebo get some better recruits in.

Also, don't give up yet.  The new arena will be finished, and that's when Lebo will REALLY turn it on.

I think some of the other starters are newer guys due to injuries and one of the starters getting caught with pot.  Once the injured heals up and the USA legalizes the public consumption of marijuana, Lebo will REALLY turn it on.

Patience is the key here.  AU doesn't have the right support.  Soon, however, Auburn fans will have a big time reason to go to basketball games.  I'm not really sure what that is yet, but I know Lebo has a plan.

He just needs more time.

When will Chris Porter play up to his potential though?

He's probably been out of prison since Lebo was hired/we went to the NCAA tournament.

As much as I hate to say it I'm long past enthusiasm and fast approaching apathy with the Tarheels this year too.
