The fifth ranked University of North Alabama Lions avenged their only loss of the season with a 52-34 rout of fourth ranked Delta State in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II playoffs at Parker Field at McCool Stadium.

The win sends UNA into the Division II semifinals against Northwest Missouri State.

The winner of the UNA/NWMSt game will play the winner of the Minnesota-Deluth/California game for the National Championship in Florence on Dec. 13th.

While the bammers and gators are playing on a dry field at 70 degrees........... the forecast for Saturday in Maryville, Mo. High of 34, Low of 19, Snow flurries.

Northwest Missouri has a sprin turf field.
The grounds crew has been scrapping snow and ice of the field for the past two days. When they are finished cleaning up the field, they will then spray a de-icer on the field.
