Monday Night Football
« on: December 02, 2008, 03:32:51 PM »
I spent last evening at Reliant Stadum in a luxury suite at the 50 yard line watching the first ever Houston Texans Monday Night Football game.  The suite, the food, and the football were all fabulous.  We kicked some Jaguar ass!!!  Mario Williams was a TOTAL STUD.  3 sacks and 4 and a half tackles for a loss.  I was one of the few who did NOT say we should have selected Reggie or Vince - and I am now one of the few to say "Told you so!!!"  Dude is a BEAST.  And Steve Slayton? WOW.  Damn, he is fast...

The only "negative" was that the roof was open (damaged during Ike and not repaired yet) and it was 39 degrees last night!  The suite was of course heated, but the seats themselves were on a balcony outside of the box in the open air.  While assholes in Philly and Green Bay go shirtless without concern in 39 degree air, and would totally call me a puss for even mentioning it, that is cold for Houston...

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."
