I'm losing count.  W Green declares.  Joan Eye declares.  JWill declares.  Westry gone.  Traore gone. Did Flanigan leave?  Who else? Zep out of eligibility.

Some may come back.  Some won't.  It's getting really hard to get invested anymore.  As I was texting with GH and GF earlier, college sports have quickly become nothing more than free agency with no rules or limits.  Who knows what we'll look like next year?  Will any of the same guys even be on the team?

When do we get some of this NIL money?  I mean, the printers are still operational, right? 
I'm thinking the group at Woopig needs some dry comedy...maybe I'll hit the portal.

Just read a piece on Pearl talking about the roster changes, and adapting to it.  Pointed out that the Final 4 team (Virginia double dribbled) was basically made up of guys recruited as freshmen, or out of JUCO. Guys like Bryce Brown, Jared Harper, Chuma Okekekekeke etc.  Been playing together for 2-3 years.

Right now, there's only 4 scholarship players who haven't either transferred out, or declared for the draft.  Didn't know Dylan Cardwell declared, or maybe I just didn't read it in a post above.  But you have Jaylin, Joan-eye, WG and Dylan declaring.  I know shit about whether any of them are actually ready, but my untrained eye says no way.  BTW, I also saw that Stretch Akingabooladoola dada is transferring as well.  Not that that's a loss, but no more Skretch.

Pretty sure Jaylin and Broome are just doing the evaluation thing that Bruce encourages all his draft-eligible guys to go through.  It helps identify parts of their game that scouts want to see them work on.

I'll admit, my rise in passion for Auburn basketball mirrored our ascent into relevance.  I tried to get into it before Bruce with Lebo & Barbee, but it was like watching a slow & painful death.  I was too young to care or give it a shot when Chris Porter was running up and down the court with fresh powder on/in his nose.  All that to say, I sure am proud to be into it now & am almost as excited about this season in basketball as I am for football.

I'll admit, my rise in passion for Auburn basketball mirrored our ascent into relevance.  I tried to get into it before Bruce with Lebo & Barbee, but it was like watching a slow & painful death.  I was too young to care or give it a shot when Chris Porter was running up and down the court with fresh powder on/in his nose.  All that to say, I sure am proud to be into it now & am almost as excited about this season in basketball as I am for football.

As Auburn fans, it's awesome to know that even in a down year, like this past season was, we're still going to put at least 20 in the win column.  Two things about this upcoming season.  Hopefully, we're bigger on the perimeter, and can defend better than our band of mini guards.

Also, if a couple of these newbies can give us that consistent outside shot we HAVE to have in Pearl's offense, this may be a special season.

Starting 5 should be the first ones you have listed on each position. With Holloway and Tre being the closest battle. Mazara will def play 3/wing.
