and...it's NFL talk. But there's some blockbuster movement that's been going on within the last two weeks.
A-A-Ron Rodgers ended the drama early and re-upped with the Packers, making him the highest paid QB in the game. For a bit.
The Packers promptly trade his favorite target, and arguably the best receiver in the game, Devonta Adams, to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Long time Seattle QB, Russell Wilson, Jr. III, is now in the Mile High City with the Broncos.
The Massage Monster, oh he of the 22 civil suits for happy endings, DeShaun Watson, gets shipped from the Texans to the Cleveland Browns. Very creative structuring of the deal by his agent and the Browns. He will most likely be the highest paid QB in a couple of years, but since everyone assumes Watson will be fined and suspended by the League, they made his year one pay, $1 million.
So, where does that leave Baker Mayfield?
The Falcons are an F'd up mess. They've spent the years since their Super Bowl melt down, screwing up the roster, contracts and their salary cap. They were rated as having one of the least talented rosters in the NFL, and since one of their only stars, Calvin Ridley, is gone for the season for gambling, they apparently decided to tear it all down, and traded QB, Matt Ryan, to the Colts. Good move for him, though. The Colts are solid.
Today, it was announced that the KC Chiefs are trading the fastest man in the league, Tyreek Hill, to the Miami Dolphins. Hill had 111 catches last season and will be an instant upgrade for the Fish. Now, there will be no excuses for Two-er Tongue Depressor.
A lot of other moves out there, but those are the biggest I can think of right now.
