I keep toying with the CNN electoral map.  It's not over.

If McCain can turn the "in play" states -- primarily Florida and OH -- and can somehow flip PA and VA he can win.  Will win.

It's not over.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

There might be a few other states that are not necessarily "battle ground" states that could flip.  This isn't over till it's over....

Fuck...

No, it's not over.

State-by-state polls in battleground states are getting very close.  I still don't like that the battle is on red state territory but it is what it is.  All things considered the race is running a great deal closer than it should have been but I think there is a lot of angst out there over The Obama and, yes, a lot of apathy towards McCain.

Remember, McCain has been written-off before and he's come back to win.  I, for one, never would have thought a year ago that he'd be the Republican candidate yet here he is making a very close run of it.

Well, anyway, if McCain looses America will survive The Obama; there will be some bad times to be sure.  He, Pelosi, and Reid will trample on our first amendment rights and do everything they can to cripple our second amendment rights among other things too (including eviscerating our military, appointing leftist-activist judges, and kow-towing to the global community who love him...I've been following the election coverage on Deutsche Welle...our Eurotrash friends just love The Obama).  Not to mention confiscatory taxes and letting our enemies run rampant.  But we survived Jimmy Carter...and Bubba Clinton.  We'll get through this too.

Maybe between the years of rule by "the Dangerous Party", the "Stupid Party", of which I am a member, will get it's platform back in line with the Conservative platform and shake-off the damn neo-cons, libertarians, immigracion reformers, bail-out artists, and big-government centrists who have ruined us.
