Except he didn't.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/redsox/2018/10/25/curt-schilling-boston-red-sox-world-series-celebration-snub/1764017002/Didn't stop USAToday from claiming that he did.
A bunch of players from the 2004 Sox threw out the first pitch last night. Schilling wasn't invited to participate even though Boston wouldn't have won without his incredibly gutsy performance.
Why wasn't he invited? Probably because he was fired from ESPN for saying he opposed transgender men using women't restrooms. You know, the same network that let Jabba Hill call the president a white supremacist and other make an array of inflammatory statements. That ESPN.
Did Schilling lash out? He said on Twitter he was disappointed, but it didn't really affect him. He said the same in a longer Facebook post.
Lash? Not even close.
Fake news.
