Biden garbles Depression history

Joe Biden's denunciation of his own campaign's ad to Katie Couric got so much attention last night that another odd note in the interview slipped by.

He was speaking about the role of the White House in a financial crisis.

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed," Biden told Couric. "He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

As Reason's Jesse Walker footnotes it: "And if you owned an experimental TV set in 1929, you would have seen him. And you would have said to yourself, 'Who is that guy? What happened to President Hoover?'"

Biden ought to watch out...it's getting awfully crowded under the wheels of The Obama's bus...

Of course this brings to mind the question how many corrupt friends does it take for the Main Stream Media to recognize a potential flaw in a candidate?  (Oh, this is Barack Obama we're talking about...what flaw?!)

Obama's White Grandma (technically not a corrupt friend but she has used racist language according to The Obama in at least one speech)
George Obama (the half-brother living on $12 a year in a hut in Kenya, again, technically not a corrupt friend but The Obama chooses to ignore him as does the Media...what if he was McCain's brother?  Just speculating...)
Jim Johnson (resigned from the VP vetting team, shady dealings with Fannie Mae, how timely!)
Eric Holder (also left the VP team, shady dealings with Countrywide Mortgage)

Could Biden be next to go under the wheels?
