If the officials call any one of the three blatant blocks in the back on the DJ Chark punt return to bring LSU to 23-21 in the fourth quarter, that play is negated and they're starting inside their own ten yard line.  Say they score on that drive, even.   You're still looking at taking five minutes or more off the clock.   I don't know that they'd be able to get in position for a field goal if they're having to do it with the clock running inside three minutes. 

If any one of those blocks are called, does that change the dynamic at the end?   Do they still take Bama over us even if we lose the SEC-CG?

Oh, I agree.  It was our game to win.  We went butthole pucker in the second half.  We lost that game. 

I just ran across a clip of the return today and had forgotten how blatant those missed calls were.  Each of the three were textbook examples of when to throw the flag.

I don't think there is any way that Auburn does not get in play offs if they beat LSU. That stupid Malzahnism cost us a chance to win it all. Then again, if we win there, who knows how rest of season would have ended.

Exactly.  I would almost venture to bet that if somehow they held on to beat LSU, we would have seen georgia (Fuck Georgia!) and bammer beat us by double digits to end the season on a much more sour note than it did.
