So I'm grilling out earlier.  Got a flat screen mounted on the screened in porch out back.  Turned to a Seinfeld rerun and the Library Cop episode comes on.  When the scene below hit, I realized that I had forgotten how classic this was.  Hadn't seen it in years.  I'm laughing so hard, the wife comes out and asks if I'm alright.  Phillip Baker Hall plays Lt. Joe Bookman, Library Investigator.  Jerry has an overdue library book from 1971.  Absolute comedy gold.  I have no doubt in my mind this took a minimum of 10 takes to finish. You can see throughout that Jerry is about to bust out and thought I saw Hall almost lose it once.  I'm also sure they changed it to let Jerry smile as the scene went on so he wouldn't lose it.  Damn, comedy has changed.  Good stuff.
