Duke and Miami's 8 laterals on Halloween want a word with you.

Just to play devils advocate, who is to say unc would have scored? And at best with a 2 point conversion they tie it.

But yeah it was a horrid call and assured the playoff committee of a very easy decision.

I said that I ever saw and I didn't see that lateral play. I didn't say UNC would have scored but they were sure as hell robbed of the opportunity.

didn't the flag come from the official on the far (Clemson) side?  on that side all the guys out to the kicker are obviously well back behind the line - the other side is not really his to call

Came from the guy on the near (UNC) side.  Which makes it even crazier seeing how the player he called it on was probably 5 yards away.
