That was about as blatant of a targeted head shot that I've seen since the updyke decleating of Puss Murray a few years back.

Best game by Auburn thus far. Coach Malzahn said, after the game, that Rhett Lashlee was the one that called the plays...eventhough I saw him calling atleast a few of the plays...especially the hidden ball carrier play. There were a few times when the Auburn offense looked like they had nearly all season, it was right around the end of the 1st qtr through most of the 2nd qtr. No tempo whatsoever, substituting nearly every play, everything looked out of rhythm and looked nothing like Auburn's first 2 possessions. Whichever Coach called the first two series, needs to continue calling it the rest of the game (noticed a couple of slant passes).

Was under the impression Gushlee nearly always scripted the first series or two. Could explain the loss of rhythm after coming out crisp. Robinson makes the play calling easier. Also helps to be up against A&M's defense. Nice to have the good feeling of a team win for a change. Thought our D was equal to the task and that makes it all the better.

Yup, but I don't understand never going back to a lot of those plays, particularly the slants. I'm just happy that the possibility of becoming bowl eligible is within reach.

Thoughts Week Page 12 Of The Game Thread

Looks like Jovon has taken over as the #1 back.  Not just because he went off for 160+ but it's just clear that he sees the holes better and gets 2-3 yards on those plays where Barber would have run right into the teeth of the D.  Would love to see Barber get his 1,000.  He has 770 with 3....maybe 4 to play.

The D was exactly what we envisioned under Muschamp. 303 total yards allowed and 10 points.  Can't ask for more.  Have no clue how they grade players, but I would think Kris Frost did well. He was all over the field last night and brought a little sumpn' sumpn' when he arrived.

The only real negative I saw was the 20 times JJ could have kept the ball on the read and gone for big yardage.  Can't recall if he ever did keep it.  Seemed scripted.  Kudos to him, though.  Came out fired up.  Managed the game and made all the throws he was asked to make.  And kudos to the staff for sending JJ out there with a game plan that fit what he's capable of right now.

What time is the BBQ gonna' be ready Saturday at Smokin' Joe's?

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."
