Last 1 in June was 7.9. Down from over 13 in February. Cut out ALL alcohol through June and started run/walking 3 to 5 miles every other day. That did it. Then mothers health went severely down hill(she past in Sept.) and Lutz's death same day. Needless to say fine burbunz were back, and still are, in picture. Lots of it. I was mind fucked. Have another test next week. Looking over bg since then and probably back to at least 10. Back to drawing board.
Damn, get off that fine bourbon. Although I am a good one to talk. I cleaned a lot of my diet up and got mine back down to 5.5 (from 11.3) until he cut my meds back by 500mg/day. I introduced bourbon back into my diet as a food group, instead of a treat and it shot back up to 7.8. Pretty sure it's going to be the same if not worse this next time. I am losing weight, not from effort though. Doc said it's a side effect of having diabetes. It can cause weight loss if your A1C's are too high. I am in the process of getting my diet clean and slacking off the bourbon. Get to re-introduce myself to the elliptical machine next week to see if I can't get this shit under control. I feel your pain (although on a smaller scale), but I am back to the drawing board myself.
