That might be the one arena league team he could go to and get maximum exposure.

As Gene is a marketing genius, this thing may just take off. And look at what the arena league did for Kurt Warner. In a  few years, Tebow could come back with a better passing game and a longer tongue!

One thing about it is this: when it is discovered that Tebow doesn't have the talent to play QB at the AFL level, they can paint his face to look like a cat and trot him out onto the field anyway.

Actually I agree with you, was initially just mocking the "bottom line" comment.  He can play at the bottom line, but not at the middle one or the top one.  He could play quarterback at ASU, but not at a real team.

Wait a damn second, ALL of the NFL "experts" stated that Blaine Gabbert was a lot better NFL QB than Cam and that Cam playing in a Spread Offense would really hurt him while trying to transition to the NFL (eventhough Gabbert also played in the Spread Offense, but whatever).
I said it before and during the Draft, the only QB that might be better than Cam would be TCU's Andy Dalton.

Watching that footage, I am convinced that if Tebow signed with them, the marketing would be phenomenal! 

Gene is probably one of the best marketers in the game today. Do I think he believes what he said in that clip about he bashing of Christianity? Sure. Do I think it was a calculated move to show Tebow he will be respected and given every opportunity to flourish on the field as well as off? Absolutely. And it was about as well played as you could do it. And of course Gene complimented the pretty lady.
