Among the ACT test-takers, 10,633 listed the University of Alabama as one of their top six college choices, while 9,331 listed Auburn University. Of those, 4,168 listed Alabama as their top choice, while 4,159 listed Auburn.
Fourteen percent, or about 1,489, who listed Alabama scored at least a 28, compared to 16 percent, or 1,680 who picked Auburn.
