I did read it, and its the same old tired stuff from him.  I went to AU in the early 2000's and quite frankly, it is easy being Auburn.  We've been good my entire life except the occasional transition year.  Maybe it wasn't easy for Marshall, but ESPN's primary demographic of 18-40 mostly remembers AU being a great program.  Yes UA has been good the last 4 years, but not that long ago my younger family members couldn't even recall UA beating AU ever.  I wish Marshall would just shut up and quit personifying the little brother complex.

Auburn got a short stint where it was easy.  Bama shot themselves in the face with a shotgun when the NCAA hit them with sanctions.  Tuberville got a foot in the Florida door and along came some rare talent in Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Campbell. 

But for the most part?  It's insanely difficult being Auburn.  Especially with a maniacal, obsessed tyrant like Nick Saban running the show in Tuscaloosa.
