I'm so sick of hearing about the South Alabama Jaguars.  Joey Jones and the South Alabama Jags.  Undefeated as a program.  19 straight wins!  Blah, blah, blah. 

They've beaten the likes of Edward Waters, Louisburg, Milford, Huntingdon, Pikeville, Nicholls State. 

Today they go on the road to face NC State in a game that will be televised. 

The local jock are picking them to win because they've won 19 in a row -- that's more than Auburn, Lee -- and Joey Jones will have them prepared. 

I'm hoping they get their ass turned inside out.  I hope the Pack goes gladiator on them.

An upstart program...The Jags ARE the patsies.  Winning any game they play vs a college team is significant.  Picking them to beat NC State...ridiculous.   But USA is going to be a program along the lines of Troy.  They, because of their location, will steal the occasional recruit from the big boys.   As a program, they're light years ahead of where UAB was in year 3.  Hell, they may be light years ahead of them right now.  Maybe your location means you get too heavy a dose of USA football, but I like the program.
