Thank you darlin'.  Am hoping Carl takes the kids to his mom's house in a little while so I can get some damn peace and quiet around here.  THAT'S all I want for Mother's Day!!  FIVE MINUTES to myself.

Although... Katie did make me a card this morning that said "My mommy is a nice, sweet, GODDESS who loves to read."  She got most of it right anyway... Suck it, Aphrodite!!!

And Carl made me a HUGE batch of Chicken Big Mamou.  For those of you who have never eaten Mamou, you have NO idea what you are missing.  A spicy red sauce with big chunks of chicken in it, eaten over thin spaghetti.  Yet another reason I married this man... damn, he can COOK.

Sounds like Carl knows whats up. Well, my wife had breakfast in bed of which was taken to her by the two little girls after she was able to sleep in. Sleeping doesn't happen much around here. Me and the two oldest boys have been doing all the chores and giving her whatever she wants. Later Mac Daddy here is gonna light up the supper and do it up right.

Oh, I conjured a role playing episode in the bedroom where I was the dressed up business man and she was my mistress. That shit was hawt!

Made the wife my almost famous french toast for breakfast after we slept "in" to 6:30.  Nice lazy day finished off with me grilling steaks with my absolutely famous marinade.  Worked my ass off in-between planting the eleventy hundred flowers I had bought to finish landscaping the yard.

this is where you could have been more efficient...IHOP then Sizzler.  I am sure sweets could have done the landscaping.

I remembered, I also remembered that we had a discussion about it and we both agreed that there would be nothing (no flowers, card, candy, gift, nothing) other than we both had to cook what the other wanted.  I got Wed and she had Thurs.   I come home from work on V-Day and there was a card, candy and gift on the counter and here I am empty handed.  She got pissed, then I got pissed, then we got over it. 3 days later, but we got over it.

I think it would have went over better.  I swear I don't how I haven't gotten killed in my sleep yet.  I have pulled some good ones in our time together.   Although in my defense I was drunk for most of them, so I blame it on the alcohol.   I have learned well though, not may screw ups anymore and I know to keep my mouth shut.  As said, I'd rather set the house on fire, it would be easier to deal with.
