That's the kind of shit that will get you fired NOW at the HS level or lower, and maybe even at lesser level college programs. Do it to the wrong player at the college level, and it will get you hurt bad.
Overall, I'm usually in agreement with you on Saban. Saban knows how to coach, he knows his shit, but he's over the top with some things, which is a double edged sword. Players might buy in to that Hitler schtick when you're winning, Asst. Coaches too, but when you have nothing to play for other than pride...this is the kind of shot that can cause you to lose players and coaches.
