I was just looking at my Yahoo! home page... I have ESPN, SI and Yahoo Sports news tickers.  Each offers five headlines.

Yahoo Sports has two of the five about Cam, one about Chiz refusing to take questions about him and one about his Heisman chances.

SI.com has one headline about Cam, stating that he will start Saturday.

But for the first time IN A WEEK, ESPN does not have ONE HEADLINE in the top five about Cam Newton.  At one point, FOUR of the five were about him.

They got the story rolling, and they know it will take the NCAA forever and a day to resolve this issue. 

Now, they'll just sit back and watch the college football world devour Cam Newton and Auburn while they rake in the credit and praises. 

Just like the Reggie Bush case.  Whats-his-name published the story on Yahoo, and then it was pretty much gone for years.  Every now and then, someone would release an article questioning the NCAA's slow investigation, but really, the Bush case left the limelight until the investigation finished. 

I have a bad feeling that's what we're going to see with Cam's story.
