Doesn't mean he's SEC player of the year for 2010 or anything...but good news is better than bad news...
Cam had two big-time TD throws in today's scrimmage.
From Trooper Taylor:
“DeAngelo kind of stuffed the defensive back and got in the back corner...Cam let it go perfectly, where only he could catch it. The DB was in good position and D-Lo made a nice play, but the ball placement was unbelievable. If he had missed it, the ball would have gone out of bounds. That’s what you are looking for".
“He made a nice throw to Kodi Burns, too, a frozen rope between two defenders. I don’t have a drill for that.”
Sounds like a good teammate too...
From Craig Stevens:
“Oh, yeah, he’s a strong guy. Fast. He is faster than I expected him to be. He’s everything they talked him up to be. I like him.”
“He’s earned a lot of respect. He didn’t come in too arrogant or anything. He just came in and got to know everyone. That’s all you have to do, just get comfortable with everybody. That’s what he did. I think he earned a lot of respect by doing it.”
