Best thing I got for Christmas was my two year old experiencing her first Christmas (that she remembers anyway...born in November, Christmas' at 1 month and 13 months aren't nearly as fun as 25 months)
So it was all about her Christmas morning....giant stuffed puppy that she can lay on and watch Dora. Kitchen utensils for her play kitchen ("I cook breakfast for you dada"). And way too many other toys.
The cutest was when she started handing out gifts to us and the grandparents. ("This one for you mama"). I also loved it when she said "Happy Birthday to Jesus today"....it was very sweet and she said it completely on her own, no one said anything about it.
However, she also got Croup for Christmas (viral infection of the vocal chords, trachea, bronchial tubes, larynx, etc, that can keep her from breathing when the cough flares up). So the day after Christmas we spent all day at the pediatric emergency room (instead of at the Palmer golf course when it was 56 and sunny).
As for me....golf shoes, some jeans, couple pairs of Patagonia shoes, other clothes, etc, nothing real exciting.
