Per ESPN: Urban Meyer Will NOT Resign

He has decided to not resign, and instead, will take a leave of absence. I bet Prowler's "skreets" didn't see that coming. No link at this time, I just received a text alert from ESPN and I don't see anything on their site yet. OC Steve Adazzio will be the interim HC until Meyer is able to return.

“He just doesn’t take losing very well,” Bud Meyer said.

So, Urban is just taking his ball and going home for a while.  Recruiting be damned.

ESPN is now saying Meyer will still miss the 2010 season. The OC will be the interim coach. I think they needed to do this just to keep face with recruits, etc. This whole thing is getting weirder by the minute. I don't think he's coming back. This is just a show for recruiting, etc at this point.

At some point, UF has to remember who they are.  If I were Foley, I'd tell him to fuck off.  Then I'd post a job opening.

What really happened was that Timmy healed him, but they have to keep it on the down low, because Timmy is not yet ready to officially declare himself as the Second Coming...

Urban Meyer must be hanging out with Brett Favre.  I don't think Meyer listened very well when Favre explained how to wait until it's just late enough to be an issue and THEN decide.

After searching hard and long, (because that's how I do things...hard and long) I was able to rustle up this damning piece of evidence.  The REAL reason Urban is ready to give it up....

I was at my daughters basketball practice last night and overheard a conversation between two bammers.  The jist of it was that Meyer left because he couldn't beat saban, and that Trent Richardson is their next Heisman winner.  They were as serious as they could be.  It made me laugh at their stupidity, and become sick at the same time.

I guess I've gotten to a point where I'm almost callused to the Bammers.  Especially right now.  You almost have to go in listening to those boobs with a comedic mindset from the start.  They rarely disappoint.  Nothing they say surprises me anymore.  There are no bounds to what they will take, or think is a perfectly logical discussion.
