Jesus, you act like fandom is akin to race.
My father in law is a member of the REC and a big time donor to Bama. 2 of his three kids went to Auburn, even though they grew up huge Alabama fans (only one of them converted fully to Auburn). I just happened to marry the only kid of his that went to Alabama.
His business partner is an Auburn grad. His wife was an Auburn fan when they got married, but finally converted to Bama after so many years of marriage.
What you have provided is nothing more than circumstantial evidence.
Side question - so what's the deal with Jerrell Harris? Should I expect to see him playing on Saturday?
Jerrell Harris will be suspended at least half the season, if not the whole season. And thats not because the NCAA said he can't play for that long, thats because he originally was not truthful about what actually happened, as far as I know.
Thats a nice story and all, and thats fine. I agree that shit can happen and things can fall very weird, but there is alot of AU connection here. When you couple that with everything going around about AU fans hiring PIs and stuff to investigate UA recruits, Operation Reddog, etc, and its interesting.
-Wife is an AU fan
-Most of his family are AU fans
-Has a son that is currently attending AU
-Business partner is an AU donor
-Business partner owns companies in Opelika
-Business partner owns companies that donate to AU
-One of the business partner's kids received a BS from AU
-Manager of Eagle Wholesale went to school at AU with the business partner
-Eagle Wholesale was originally incorporated just outside of Auburn
-Anderson has now retained an attorney
Like I said before, I'm normally not into the conspiracy theories. But when AU fans are going message boards saying there is an organized effort to harm Alabama, what do you expect us to think when we see all of these connections to AU? Anderson certainly has no connection to Alabama. Again, I think if the NCAA thought otherwise, Julio and Ingram wouldn't be playing this weekend. Do you think we can agree on that much?
Does all of those circumstances above point to a definite AU involvement. No, not really. As you suggest, it could be alot of coincidences. Maybe its not. But I think the NCAA is satisfied that he has no Alabama connections. If the tables were turned and this guy had all of these connections, but hey were to Alabama, you would tell me I was insane to think he wasn't somehow connected to Alabama, and you know it. A huge string of coincidences would not exist.
